After receiving several awards in Europe for “Best Baby development program,” Baby Sensory has just opened its first location in the U.S. in Miami, Florida. Baby Sensory provides moms and babies weekly unique sensory and play experiences, including massage, that stimulate babies’ development and strengthens parental bonds. The creative activities and exclusive music makes Baby Sensory the ideal ‘Mommy and Me’ class.

Founder of the Miami Baby Sensory center, Carolina Forero, says, “One of the most exciting advances in child development has been the discovery that babies actually learn before they are born. Even more amazing is the fact that during the first year, babies learn more than at any other time in their lives. By the first birthday, the baby’s brain has doubled in volume as a direct result of the trillions of connections made between the brain cells. This is why it is so important to introduce a rich variety of sensory experiences at every possible opportunity. Our baby and toddler classes contain a variety of activities to stimulate just this type of learning.”

The Baby Sensory program consists of more than 40 themed lesson plans, so every week there are new sensory experiences for parents and babies to share. The various baby activities aim to build up a vocabulary of sensory experiences (e.g. visual, auditory and tactile), to enhance physical contact (massage, reflexology, touching, cuddling and rocking) between parents and their babies and to promote the development of speech through the use of sign language, music, song and puppets. The baby classes include fiber optic light shows, bubbles, bells, musical fun, baby signing, puppet shows, amazing light balls and much more. Each class also includes discovery playtime, during which babies can enjoy the exploratory play area while parents have an opportunity to meet and share experiences.

The Toddler Sense program is filled with adventure play activities designed to build on the skills acquired at Baby Sensory. Toddler classes are designed for children age 13 months to three years. Toddler Sense is an exciting introduction into learning through play. Each session includes great music, equipment and new ideas. Every week introduces a whole new adventure, such as climbing a snow mountain, going on safari, digging for fossils, swimming with dolphins, hunting for dinosaurs and much more. The main emphasis is on mobility, excitement and adventure. It is a fast-moving, action-packed program.
