Four people were appointed to the Florida Board of Massage Therapy, Governor Charlie Crist announced Feb. 24.
• Bridget Burke-Wammack, 47, of Tallahassee, a self-employed massage therapist, succeeded David Quiring. she was appointed for a term beginning Feb. 24, 2009, and ending Oct. 31, 2012.
• Karen Ford, 42, of Punta Gorda, a self-employed massage therapist, succeeded Andrea Vala. She was appointed for a term beginning Feb. 24, 2009, and ending Oct. 31, 2011.
• Robert Smallwood, 62, of Key West, a self-employed massage therapist, succeeded Jacqueline Kelly. He was appointed for a term beginning Feb. 24, 2009, and ending Oct. 31, 2011.
• William Stoehs, 64, of Hudson, retired, succeeded Alfonza Hall. He was appointed for a term beginning Feb. 24, 2009, and ending Oct. 31, 2010.
