Massage therapists and students interested in applying for the Massage Therapy Foundation‘s Research Grant and Student Case Report Contest, respectively, have until Monday, March 2, to submit applications.

The research grant “supports high quality, independent research that contributes to the basic science of massage therapy application, including applied research investigating massage therapy as a health/mental health treatment and/or prevention modality,” according to the foundation’s website.

The case-report contest “fosters an opportunity for students to develop research skills by conducting their own research case study in which they will summarize the results in the format of a professional research paper,” the foundation’s website notes.

The Massage Therapy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, public charity that promotes research, community service and education in the field of therapeutic massage and bodywork.
