NEW YORK, NY (November 11, 2010) GramercyOne, LLC is launching today to expand the SpaBooker business management and marketing platform. The cloud-based software product has gained significant market share in the spa industry since launching in 2008. Originally developed as a division of SpaFinder, Inc., the world’s largest spa media and marketing company, over 2,000 spas and wellness businesses in more than 30 countries have signed up with SpaBooker since inception. GramercyOne will now capitalize on SpaBooker’s success, creating a suite of Booker brands with customized functionality for clients in a number of different verticals including spas, salons, fitness centers, integrated health & medical practices, hospitality, and activity-based businesses.

In just three years, SpaBooker evolved into the SaaS provider of choice in the spa industry and GramercyOne has been created to facilitate further expansion and to service its increasingly growing spa market share. “As more spas and non-spa related businesses approached us to license the product, we decided to maximize its potential by creating a new company, GramercyOne, to develop and commercialize market specific Booker products” said Pete Ellis, CEO, SpaFinder and Chairman, GramercyOne.

The Booker platform provides the technical functionality and integrated marketing capabilities businesses need to compete in today’s marketplace, including:
• Real-time mobile and online booking for appointments and classes
• Social media integration with Facebook and Twitter that enables viral marketing of promotions and fills last minute cancellations
• Hosted point-of-sale with mobile payment processing which allows businesses to operate from mobile devices, including iPads, iPhones and Android
• A Group Buying and deal site promotion engine that generates targeted offers for specific times, services and discounts, enabling marketing of off-peak appointments and services
• Integrated CRM that brings marketing power and ROI analysis to small business
“We see a tremendous opportunity to become the OpenTable for any spa or service related business,” says Josh McCarter, CEO of GramercyOne. “Businesses worldwide will benefit from our innovative technology and marketing capabilities that help drive profits and build customer relationships.”

The platform is translated into eight languages and is processing more than 300,000 transactions per month. GramercyOne is building on this success and is creating a suite of Booker brands segmented by vertical in order to realize the platform’s potential of delivering cloud-based applications that connect consumers to any service-related business.
