Two Chicago-area hospitals are about to add massage therapy to their planned outpatient cancer services, according to an article published by the Chicago Tribune newspaper.

The hospitals are Adventist La Grange and Adventist Hinsdale, in Hinsdale, Illinois.

“The Adventist Cancer Institute will house an array of cancer-related services—including diagnostics, chemotherapy, radiation, surgical consultation, phlebotomy, massage therapy, rehabilitation, counseling and a chaplain,” the article stated.

The need for outpatient cancer services is “expected to grow by more than 30 percent over the next decade,” the article noted.
