LEXINGTON, Kentucky (January 16, 2012): The International SPA Association (ISPA), managed by Associations International (AI), is pleased to introduce Trish Dever as the new Public Relations Director for the association. Dever will work with media outlets around the world to promote the spa industry’s message of health and wellness, along with the unique offerings and products of ISPA members.

Dever is a graduate of the University of Louisville, with a bachelors of arts in communications with over 20 years experience as a public relations and communications professional for a variety of associations and corporate clients.

“It is thrilling to join the highly accomplished team at the International SPA Association. Advancing and promoting the health and wellness benefits of the spa industry is a truly wonderful opportunity.” said Dever.

Dever will handle day-to-day media relations for ISPA and collaborate with the staff on the association’s publication Pulse, a magazine written for the spa professional with insight on the latest trends and news in the industry. She will contribute to the ISPA website, social media platforms, and provide direction on digital media outreach and video production. The annual ISPA Conference & Expo held at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, Fla. from Oct. 15-17, 2012 will also be a key focus.
