Sitting in the common area of Ivy Hall at Ivy Tech Community College, three criminal justice classmates heard two magic words from a fellow student: free massages.
Almost immediately, the women grabbed their coats and bags and headed to get massages. After all, they were just waiting to go to their mid-morning classes.
“Down the line, our goal is to have a massage lab that will be open to the public,” said Shelly Fishback, program chairwoman for health care support, which oversees the massage program. She said the massage lab would be open regularly with walk-in hours.
