Dr. Christopher F. Tirotta, board certified pediatric anesthesiologist, and CEO of American Scientific Resources, created and produced the widely acclaimed videos which originally sold thousands of copies across the English-speaking world.
The pre-operative video, A Hospital Trip with Dr. Bip, explains to youngsters what to expect when they go to the hospital for surgery. Dr. Bip™s New Baby Tips is designed to explain to young children what to expect when their Mom brings home a new baby.
Dr. Tirotta says, A surgical routine and the introduction of a new baby to a household can be extremely traumatic for a child. Both videos are narrated by an endearing animated character that makes learning about these two stressful experiences enlightening and entertaining.
He further states, As a doctor who works with children, I experience first-hand the stress they endure on a daily basis. Therefore, I felt compelled to ease the fears of children by providing them with an outlet that may make these experiences easier for them to understand. The videos also provide parents with an added tool in which to calm their child.
