Chicago, Ill. — Juil is pleased to announce its partnership with Deborah Evans & Associates for distribution into spas, resorts and hotels in the U.S. spa and travel markets.
Deborah Evans & Associates, a boutique spa distribution agency, offers innovative, niche products and services to the spa industry. Juil is the perfect partner for Deborah’s group, with its health-driven, earthing shoes for men and women.
The team is thrilled about the new earthing shoe line and the retail opportunity for spas with earthing trending strong in the wellness and spa industries. Earthing was the third of the top 10 global spa and wellness trends in 2013 and continues to evolve in 2014 as an extension of a healthy lifestyle. (Spa Finders Trends 2013).
Deborah Evans & Associates will be introducing the new “grounding” shoe line to the spa market, offering spas a unique product to retail, besides the traditional spa offerings. Juil’s design is based on a contemporary wellness concept known as earthing or grounding. Whereas most footwear insulates your body from making a connection with the earth, Juil’s copper “dots” act as a conduit between your body and the earth, allowing you to stay truly connected and balanced.
To put it simply, Juil was created to enhance your well-being. Juil spent more than five years with designers, engineers and footwear experts to introduce a product that would be unmatched and previously not seen on the market. The goal was to both educate and inspire users to make one of the simplest, yet often most forgotten and neglected, connections. Of course, we’re referring to the connection to the earth beneath and around you — one of the greatest sources of healing and well-being available.
Juil is manufactured in premier factories, where the leathers are responsibly sourced and also vegetable dyed. Beyond just the construction of the shoe, the packaging that it comes in is equally thought out. Providing a drawer-like shoe box design creates the opportunity to upcycle the box and use it for storage (customers have reported using the boxes for collectibles, CD’s, socks, you name it!).
Above all else, Juil is recognized by the “copper dots.” They’re the differentiator — a “connection” to the world around you. They’re a reminder of simpler times, when walking barefoot in the sand or grass was one of your greatest sources of pleasure, calm, and wellbeing. Those feelings aren’t just your imagination either, as recent studies have supported the multitude of health benefits associated with walking barefoot. By placing copper dots in the shoes, Juil allows you to maintain that connection with the earth beneath your feet, without actually having to walk barefoot.
Juil sandals cleanse the body of stress and toxins in the form of free radicals. The benefit is simple, you feel better.
