Dr. Gustin established Be You Healing in the Bay Area in 2000 and has recently relocated to Ojai, CA in Ventura County. Since opening her doors, she has helped countless clients overcome weight issues, bone misalignments, anxiety, and emotional imbalances that block the path of success in life. She supports each client’s journey to balance and health through soul care, emotional release/balancing, physical care, energetic attunement, and sacred ceremonies.
“I believe that all healing begins with the soul and that the body is the landscape of the soul,” explains Dr. Gustin. “It is how the soul expresses itself.” If the body has blockages, repressed feelings, held aspects of self or imbalances in the bodies systems, the expression of the soul becomes inhibited. We carry extra burdens that require effort to be something other than our true self. This leaves us feeling tired and at times like something is missing. Parts of our true self are missing or held back. We are living without full expression of our authentic self.
The Shamanic practitioner’s essence is truth- within which nothing false can exist. Her ancestral heritage honors traditions from the Middle East, the Mediterranean, Africa and Native America. Her formal training is Native-American supported by an array of alternative healing modalities: rosen method, quantum touch, sciati-care, and massage therapy. Her approach to healing is clearing, retrieving, aligning, connecting and generating appropriate flow at a soul, energetic, and cellular level.
Dr. Gustin received her Ph.D. and her MBA from Virginia Tech, with a concentration in Environmental Issues and Marketing. Dr. Gustin is in the preliminary stages of establishing an environmental lifestyle behavior-consulting firm.
