Akron, Ohio – August 7, 2009 – The Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA) recognized Lynda Solien-Wolfe of the Florida Board of Massage Therapy, as this year’s recipient of their Charles Canfield Award. Currently serving as the chair of the Florida Board of Massage Therapy, Ms. Solien-Wolfe has provided exemplary achievement in the service of the massage therapy profession in Florida. To receive this honor from the FSMTA, a current or previous board of massage therapy member must have demonstrated long-term, consistent outstanding service, achievement or participation in service of the massage therapy profession in Florida.
Lynda Solien-Wolfe, Director of Education for Performance Health / Hygenic Corporation, received her Massage Diploma from Space Coast Massage Institute. She is nationally certified in therapeutic massage and body work, (NCTMB). Ms. Solien-Wolfe has received numerous awards for her hard work and dedication in the massage profession. She is a member of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association, (FSMTA), the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) the International SPA Association (I-SPA) and the Florida Chiropractic Association, (FCA).
