Lynelle Lynch Receives Humanitarian Award at American Massage Conference, MASSAGE MagazineAkron, OH. Lynelle Lynch, president of Bellus Academy, received the 2013 One Concept/Performance Health Humanitarian Award at the ONE Concept American Massage Chiropractic Acupuncture and Spa Conference in San Diego, California, on Sept. 14, 2013. The award recognizes individuals and organizations that have made significant, enduring contributions to humanity.

Bob Poirier, vice president of commercial operations for Performance Health, had the pleasure of presenting the award to Lynch. “Lynelle is an accomplished visionary, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Her fresh perspective on the beauty and wellness education business has allowed her to revolutionize beauty education and offer education in ways that were unprecedented in beauty school education and career development. The Beauty Changes Lives Foundation’s scholarship programs can make dreams come true for those looking to pursue and further develop a career in beauty and wellness. She understands that scholarships present an important opportunity for those who have ever dreamed of working in the beauty and wellness industry, but have not received the support to make their dream a reality.”

In addition to honoring Lynch at the ONE Concept Awards Gala, Performance Health provided her with $1,000 contribution to The Beauty Changes Lives Foundation.

“I am truly honored to receive the One Concept/Performance Health Humanitarian Award,” stated Lynch. “As the founding president of The Beauty Changes Lives Foundation, I know that we have made a profound difference for many, and with the support of our numerous contributors such as Massage Envy and recognition such as this, we will continue to elevate the perception of the careers in beauty and wellness and change lives. In addition to our rewarding scholarship work, we also shine a spotlight on charitable initiatives within the beauty and wellness community. Thank you very much for this tribute and generous contribution.”
