Massage Envy, a national leader in massage and skincare collectively across its franchised locations, has teamed up with LED light therapy manufacturer LightStim to develop an innovative facial treatment designed to help improve the appearance of wrinkles.

“We are excited to work with LightStim and to feature their LED technology for the national launch of our Nourishing Light Treatment facial service at Massage Envy franchised locations,” said Beth Stiller, Massage Envy CEO. “This collaboration and new offering are just one of the many advancements we are making in the skin care space as we continue to build on our brand’s suite of innovative skin care services and premium offerings.”

“Our team worked hand-in-hand with Massage Envy to develop a unique skin care treatment and enhancement that pairs the line of professional products and services in franchised locations with our standout ProPanel Anti-Aging LED Light for an advanced skin care experience,” said LightStim President Joniann Marchese.

This 60-minute Nourishing Light treatment is the latest in advanced services offered at select Massage Envy franchised locations nationwide.  It includes 20 minutes of LED light, a cooling globe customized facial massage, and the incorporation of skincare products. The skincare products are intended to have synergistic benefits with the LED light.

The benefits of the light panel can also be added as an enhancement to Massage Envy’s microderm infusion and chemical peel services. The enhancement is a 10-minute LED Light treatment with a hand-and-arm massage.

LED, which stands for light-emitting diode, is a tiny computer chip encased in glass. Unlike laser treatments, which are invasive and may require up to two weeks of recovery time, the Nourishing Light treatment is a noninvasive treatment with little to no down time. The treatment uses an Anti-Aging ProPanel LED light technology that features a combination of 1,400 amber, red and infrared wavelengths of LED light. LED light contains no UV rays. Instead, this spectrum of amber, red and infrared light energies work together to improve the appearance of facial wrinkles.

“LightStim’s MultiWave Patented Technology takes LED light therapy a step further by delivering multiple wavelengths (colors) of light simultaneously for a more comprehensive and result-driven treatment,” said Diana Morrison, LightStim brand partnership manager. “LightStim LED light therapy devices have been used and recommended by medical spas, estheticians, dermatologists, plastic surgeons and their clients for over 20 years.”

“The benefits of Nourishing Light also include relaxing ‘me’ time. Think of practicing mindfulness under the soothing warmth and sensory experience of LED lights,” said Adrianne Lackey, Massage Envy’s skincare and product development specialist.

Massage Envy is a national franchisor and does not independently own or operate any of the Massage Envy franchised locations nationwide. The Massage Envy franchise network, through its franchise locations, of approximately 1,100 locations in 49 states is a leading provider of massage and skincare provider. The brand was founded in 2002. Its franchise network has delivered more than 190 million massages, stretch services and facials.
