A Nevada newspaper detailed a new massage program for people who have suffered burns, on its website today, March 17.

According to the article published by NVDaily.com, massage therapy relaxes burned skin, increases blood flow and breaks down damaged tissue.

The Frederick County Fire and Rescue Department’s Kindle Program is “aimed at encouraging and inspiring resiliency among burn survivors,” the article noted. The program launched on March 14.
