In its third year of promoting Breast Cancer Awareness through a joint venture with the national franchise, Massage Envy, this year Massage Envy and Susan B. Komen, the national breast cancer research foundation that has raised more than $1 billion since being founded 27 years-ago in 1982, is launching its first “breast cancer awareness and fundraising campaign” in South Florida by combining breast cancer awareness and the joy, relaxation and therapeutic benefits of massage to adult men and women of South Florida at all 21 Massage Envy locations.
How Much and Where does the Money Go?
Massages are valued at $49, which is the suggested donation. All proceeds benefit the Miami affiliate of the Susan G. Komen foundation. During the prior three years, this event has raised nearly $360,000.
