Massage Heights Retreats Plans Event to Recognize American Cancer Society Milestone, MASSAGE MagazineSan Antonio, TX. Massage Heights Retreats nationwide will throw a daylong birthday celebration for the American Cancer Society, which will be celebrating 100 years of saving lives. On July 16, 2013, participating retreats will contribute $10 from every one-hour massage and facial to the American Cancer Society, with a goal of raising $100,000. Prices vary from $39.99 to $59.99 for massages and facials, depending on location.

“Nearly everybody is affected by cancer–whether they’ve been diagnosed or they know somebody that has been diagnosed–so I’m thrilled that Massage Heights is hosting this birthday celebration for the American Cancer Society,” said Glenn Franson, CEO, Massage Heights. “To join in celebrating 100 years of saving lives and creating more birthdays, give yourself the gift of massage and elevate the everyday. In return, you’ll be helping the American Cancer Society finish the fight against cancer.”

Reservations will be accepted beginning June 4 on a first-come, first-served basis and retreats expect to be fully appointed.  All proceeds contributed during this event will support the American Cancer Society in its mission to finish the fight against cancer. Additionally during the event, Massage Heights will contribute 10 percent of all dermalogica® product sales sold at participating body + face locations to the American Cancer Society.

Massage Heights employs licensed, registered and certified massage therapists who are trained to provide a variety of therapeutic massage treatments that are customized to address the individual needs of their member and nonmember guests.

Massage Heights serves as a sponsor of the American Cancer Society Chicago Marathon DetermiNation® team in support of their efforts toward cancer-related causes. This 100th birthday celebration event is part of the Massage Heights Cause Partnership program with the American Cancer Society and is the second event of its kind for the franchise company.
