SAN ANTONIO, Aug. 22, 2017 — As part of its aggressive nationwide expansion, Massage Heights, a leader of professional, affordable and convenient therapeutic massage and facial services, today announced it signed three franchise agreements during the first half of 2017 to expand the brand in Houston and Boerne, Texas, as well as in Woodland Hills, California. The brand is on track to open 10 locations in 2017 with a goal of having 300 Retreats open by the end of 2020.
“After a banner year in 2016 where we brought on several new Strategic-partners to open multiple locations across the United States, we’re thrilled to continue our strong franchise development momentum in new and existing markets,” said Shane Evans, co-founder and president of Massage Heights. “Our success is a testament to the unwavering confidence our existing Strategic-partners have in the brand and our leadership team, as well as Massage Heights’ proven business model, robust franchise support, and multiple revenue streams. We are delighted to report on our midyear growth as the spa industry worldwide continues to thrive and look forward to a strong rest of 2017.”
As part of Massage Heights’ growth strategy, the brand will celebrate the re-opening of a Retreat in Rochester Hills, Michigan on September 1 under new franchisees Jennifer and Paul Bialy. Jennifer’s professional background is built on the foundation of operational and managerial roles for various companies. She has experience with customer service, recruiting and operations management. Paul is currently a vice president and controller of a global manufacturing company. Together, the husband-and-wife team have a passion for the health and wellness industry and look forward to serving their community.
“The franchise support has been wonderful as I have transitioned from a corporate position into a new industry that I didn’t have expertise with,” Bialy said. “Massage Heights provides strong advertising support, which has been a vital part of our success as we kick-off our grand re-opening in the Rochester Hills community. Our franchise consultant has provided phenomenal guidance throughout the entire journey. The only regret we have is waiting so long to make our decision to join the Massage Heights family.”
