STUART, FL. – On July 17, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Debbie Roberts. L.M.T., of Massage & Fitness Professionals of the Treasure Coast and staff will pamper local residents and give back to House of Hope. Roberts and staff were so pleased with the success of the May 2010 “Day of Beauty” event that they are offering another and helping to support the food pantry of House of Hope (HOH), prior to another predicted, busy hurricane season. Patrons will receive an opportunity to receive 20 percent off of any future services of their choice, along with gift certificates (like having Christmas in July) if he, or she brings in six nonperishable food items for HOH.
Guests will have an opportunity to slip into a white robe and experience a sampling of massage, facials, exfoliating hand treatment, complete with champagne topped with a fresh strawberry and other goodies. HOH is the largest provider of food for the hungry in Florida’s Martin County. In 2009, HOH provided 129 tons of food—equaling nearly 303,000 meals.
