A Massachusetts massage therapist has received an award from local media, along with news coverage of the massage therapy he provides to U.S. veterans.

Jeffrey Myers was named a “2009 Daily News Person of Distinction” by The Metrowest Daily News, a newspaper in Framingham, Massachusetts. Myers volunteers at the MetroWest Veterans Outreach Center in Marlborough.

“Massage therapy for the vets is my way of thanking them for what they are doing.” Myers told the Daily News.
