The Massage Therapy Foundation is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our triennial International Massage Therapy Research Conference (IMTRC) that will be held May 12–15, 2016 at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel in Seattle, Washington. This is the fourth research conference that the Foundation has hosted and we expect to have an attendance of 300–400 people from across the United States and abroad.
At this time, we are now accepting scientific abstract submissions. The call for IMTRC scientific submissions invites original massage therapy research that promotes the dissemination and discussion of new information in the following research categories: basic science, education, clinical, case studies, public health, and integration of massage therapy in various settings within the conference theme: Integrating Therapies for Pain.
Submissions may be in any of the aforementioned categories and are due by no later than December 14, 2015. The call for abstracts and further information about the conference itself may be found on the Foundation’s website.
IMTRC attendees at the 2016 conference will include massage and manual therapy practitioners, educators, researchers, and allied health professionals. Attendees will have the chance to attend a variety of presentations spotlighting the latest massage therapy scientific research. Massage Therapy Foundation
