The Massage Therapy Foundation has selected publisher Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins as its teaching research literacy workshop partner.

This means the publisher will partner with the foundation to host the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork-approved workshop titled “Teaching Research Literacy,” to be held June 18 and 19 at Irene’s Myomassology Institute in Southfield, Michigan.

The Massage Therapy Foundation has developed the Teaching Research Literacy program to work with massage school faculty to build research literacy competencies into their curricula. Its mission is to advance the knowledge and practice of massage by supporting scientific research, education and community service.

Lippincott Williams & Wilkins is a provider of massage therapy resources designed to meet the needs of massage instructors, school owners, students and working therapists.
