Evanston, IL – The Massage Therapy Foundation (MTF) has partnered with Education and Training Solutions (EdTS) to offer Basics of Research Literacy, an online continuing education class for massage practitioners and educators. Participants in this NCBTMB-approved course will hone their research skills by learning how to perform a literature search, how to evaluate findings and how to incorporate the principles and benefits of research literacy into their everyday practice and curriculum.

Basics of Research Literacy is available now for an introductory price of $75 for individuals or $65 per person for groups of five or more. This is a permanent fundraiser for the Massage Therapy Foundation with 65 percent of the proceeds being returned to the MTF. Registration is now available on the EdTS website: www.educationtrainingsolutions.com/massage-therapy-foundation/.

This course is a continuation of the work that the MTF is already doing to promote massage research and education. It is a natural extension of the MTF’s in-person research literacy workshop, Teaching Research Literacy, which focuses on helping educators to incorporate research literacy into already existing curricula.
