HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colorado – Dec. 9, 2009 – elements therapeutic massage inc. recently elected four franchisees and four area directors to the company’s newly created Leadership Council. The council members will serve to foster open communication between the elements franchise system and the Support Center.
Leadership Council members were selected by territory.
- Joel Hayek, area director and franchise owner of elements of Spokane, Wash., and Mike Wright, franchise owner of elements on Shea in Scottsdale, Ariz., were elected to represent locations in the West. Wright was also elected secretary.
- Cliff Latham, area director and franchise owner of elements locations in College Station, Bryan and Lake Conroe, Texas, and Michelle Burke, owner of elements of Elm Grove, Wis., were elected to represent locations in the Central region. Latham was also elected vice chairperson of the council.
- Boo Sadikot, area director and franchise owner of elements of Novi, Mich., and Aimee Matchette, owner of elements of Whitefish Bay, Wis., were elected to represent locations in the Northeast.
- Colleen O’Connor, area director and franchise owner of elements of Louisville, Ken., and Louise Casper, franchise owner of elements of Coral Springs, Fla., were elected to represent locations the Southeast. O’Connor was also elected chairperson of the council.
“The Leadership Council is an important voice for our franchise system,” said Kyle Gjersee, senior vice president and chief operating officer of elements therapeutic massage. “The franchisees and area directors on this council have proven to be leaders of our system, and we look forward to their input.”
As members of the Leadership Council, franchisees and area directors will attend periodic meetings with the elements management team to review company policy and initiatives, provide feedback from franchise owners in their regions and discuss matters of common interest to franchisees, area directors and the management team. The first Leadership Council meeting was held Nov. 16 at the company’s Support Center in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
