Juno Beach, FL, Dec. 16, 2011 – MichaelSheaTeaching.com, a school of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, has announced a new trauma resolution course comprised of just 250 class hours. This is a newly designed program that includes parts of the original 700 hours of study and hands-on practice.
This NCBTMB-approved course, which begins in winter 2012, provides a unique opportunity for bodyworkers, therapists and pre-qualified students to acquire the knowledge and skills to safely help their clients release physical and emotional traumas.
Because of the condensed nature of this new program, therapists will be able to apply what they learn immediately, and students who satisfactorily complete the course will receive a diploma of completion and will be eligible to continue their education to receive certification from the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America.
Dr. Michael Shea, Ph.D., shares that “There is a fast-growing need for therapists and bodyworkers who are fully trained in trauma resolution. The redesign of the original course is, in part, a way for us to provide qualified professionals with an intense course of study and practice so that they can better serve their clients and their communities.”
The first of the newly designed classes will be offered through the Cortiva Institute’s Scottsdale, Arizona campus. Director of Career Services and Continuing Education, Kallie Gough, states “We are so very pleased to be able to host this coursework. The knowledge and instruction that Dr. Shea shares has always been met with such enthusiastic anticipation and deep respect, and this particular course will be of great benefit to our students and alumni.”
