New York, NY June 18, 2012 – SpaFinder Wellness Inc. has announced that Michelle Pae has been named chief product officer of the leading spa and wellness media and marketing company. In this newly created position, Pae will spearhead the company’s significant expansion in the health and wellness arena, and is charged with developing new products and online technology and tools designed to help people easily find and reserve wellness, fitness and spa experiences and services worldwide.

SpaFinder, founded in 1986, recently rebranded itself as SpaFinder Wellness, underscoring the company’s new, much wider wellness focus–which now includes fitness, yoga, Pilates and other diverse providers, in addition to spa. In May, SpaFinder Wellness also launched its Worklife Wellness division, which provides businesses with innovative incentive programs that are fully aligned with employers’ health objectives, and that help motivate employees to take control of their personal health and wellbeing.

Prior to joining SpaFinder Wellness, Pae was the co-founder of Real Direct, an online real estate technology company that empowers users to efficiently sell their homes. Previously, she was vice president of product at, where she executed product strategy and user experience; vice president of product at Seevast, where she led product and customer acquisition strategies; director of product management at and interaction designer at R/GA. She has also served as a consultant to a number of companies, including YouTube and Kaboom!. Pae is a graduate of Barnard College.
