Revolutionary partnership between The Hamister Group Inc. and Spa-Nique offers full menu of spa services directly in hotel, plus in-room treatments

BUFFALO, NEW YORK – The Hamister Group Inc., a national leader in hospitality management, has partnered with mobile spa company Spa-Nique, to offer a complete line of spa services to locals and hotel travelers at the Residence Inn Pittsburgh Cranberry Township. This project is the first of its kind.

Since the partnership began April 19, spa services are available both in-room and at a dedicated spa unit within the hotel. The menu offers a wide-array of massage options, including deep tissue, “4 Hands,” sports and features a couple’s massage complete with a bedtime hand and foot sugar scrub and a head-to-toe hot oil massage. The hotel will also offer a “Thai Spa Body Polish,” an aromatherapy peppermint foot scrub and organic airbrush tanning services for a virtually chemical-free, customized tan.

Over the next six months, The Hamister Group Inc. plans to construct spa facilities in each of their other eight hotel properties in the Pittsburgh and Tennessee/Kentucky areas (see complete list at end).

The Residence Inn also plans to offer themed spa packages in the near future, similar to the popular “Ladies Night Out” invite–only client appreciation event the hotel has hosted each year since 2005. The “Ladies Night Out” package includes free wine tastings, food and hair stylists all supplied from area businesses.

“We’re pioneering this concept and know it will increase hotel accommodations by differentiating us from our competition,” says Bonnie Weyman, general manager, Residence Inn Pittsburgh Cranberry Township. “We’ll have on-location, free chair massages at peak check-in times and all new clients will receive a free bag of five facial products from Avalla (Spa-Nique partner).”

Weyman adds “offering these services will improve our guest satisfaction and create a great selling point for our sales team, especially when we introduce our customized bridal, couples, etc. packages and begin offering spa discounts for frequent travelers.”

Spa-Nique is no stranger to the hospitality industry, currently operating with nearly 100 Pittsburgh-area hotels and a number of local businesses to offer corporate/workplace massage and other services. In addition, its customized, luxurious, 38-foot RV has all the comforts of a private suite and it is used to host bridal parties, birthdays, anniversaries and private appointments— brought to your front door.
