Recently launched website, NaturalHomeBoutique.com has a host of natural and organic-based home products that is seldom found in big box retailers. Answering the demand of people who are choosing to turn their lives to eco-friendly ones, the site’s founder sat down to talk about why her business is a stepping stone to making the Earth a better place to live.

North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (PRWEB) May 3, 2009 — While it’s taken many people to realize this, the fact is that the world itself is in a declining state. Long running business practices have left people with a planet that is lacking resources and its people suffering from a myriad of ailments – all due to various chemicals that have found its way into foods, clothing and the air. Instead of standing idly, entrepreneur Karen Oates is taking a stand.

Oates is the founder of www.NaturalHomeBoutique.com, a website that specializes in organic, natural and environmentally friendly products.

“When the idea came about, it was simply to decrease the amount of chemically based products we used in our home,” explained Oates. “We thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be great to turn around and offer these same green products to other people who were trying to have environmentally friendly households.”

The site, which launched recently in March 2009, already has a respectable catalog of green items such as organic bedding, all natural handmade soap and bamboo towels. Natural Home Boutique also has natural food storage sets and gift wrap.

Even with an impressive selection, Oates is still looking at more products to add.

“We’re still researching products, including additional bedding,” she said. “I’d like to expand our line of cleaning products.”

Along with the web store’s debut is the simultaneous introduction of its corresponding blog, www.NaturalHomeProductsInfo.com.

“As more research is conducted about chemicals and toxins in the house and alternatives that are available, we will be posting it on our blog, and making it accessible for concerned people. The information needs to be distributed,” said Oates.

Seeing that companies are responding to the demand of cleaner and eco-friendly products, Oates hopes that more items will be coming out as the years progress.

“We have things like natural gift wrapping paper and bags that are made from recycled materials and are recyclable themselves,” she said. “With so many businesses utilizing these types of green resources and offering them to people with wider availability, we’ll be able to actually sustain on a clean planet.”
