The Health Progressive joins with President Obama on Saturday, June 6, 2009 for a day of health freedom and health reform discussions with the launch of a new website

But health reform must also include health freedom. Reform of the health care system means appropriate access to medical insurance and services to all Americans. The President has called upon us to dialogue about solutions to the U.S. health care crisis. Recently Obama called in from Air Force One to join tens of thousands supporters on a conference call to discuss his Health Care Organizing Campaign. On the call the President laid out his goals for strong health care reform and took questions on how citizens can get involved to support his efforts in attaining real health reform for all Americans. He called upon thousands of participants to host Health Care Kickoff Events on Saturday June 6th, 2009. In response to the President’s call to action, The Health Progressive website will launch on this date with a two (2) hour online dialogue on solutions for U.S. Health Reform.

Saturday afternoon, a panel including Dr. Mary Zennett, MD, Dr. Reg McDaniel, MD, Sam Caster, Dr Mitch Fleisher, Jim Illick and Diane Miller will be online from 3 – 5 p.m. Central Time (4 – 6 p.m. Eastern Time). This discussion will include Q & A time, along with a discussion about why integrative health, natural as well as conventional, is needed and that it must be incorporated into the USA healthcare system. This discussion will be passed along to President Obama’s health team. Participation in this forum is vital, in order that those who are formulating plans for the future of healthcare.
There will be an interactive online nationwide group of citizens uniting with solutions to the U.S. health care crisis. Key leaders will speak via audio and video; participants will have the opportunity to submit questions and feedback interactively online.
