While health care costs are rising, one company is giving it away for free.

Newark, DE (PRWEB) May 16, 2009 — In a time where the “bottom line” is the only item being discussed by corporate executives and companies continue cutting back on each and every “excess,” Be Truly Well Chiropractic and Day Spa in Newark, DE, has expanded its free community events to their wide range of services. These events are offered throughout Delaware and include a free 15-minute chair massage or free spinal screenings, as well as insightful public health lectures designed to raise a person’s knowledge concerning how to keep their body in great health.

“Our goal is to help people. In today’s economy, some people have cut back on their personal health care and we don’t think that’s a good idea,” says Dr. Jeffrey West, owner of Be Truly Well. “Free chair massage and spinal screenings are just one way we can help people in this shaky economic climate. I’ve seen companies offering chair massage in the mall for $5 for 10 minutes and I think that’s absurd, they should be giving it away. People are stressed and I believe that it’s my duty to help them experience some relief.”

Many local businesses, such as the Newark Natural Foods Market, are taking advantage of Dr. West’s community service. “Businesses definitely love it. We massage their employees, their customers, anyone who is there,” West added. “People arrive at the Newark Co-Op for their groceries and find themselves receiving a relaxing and invigorating free 15-minute massage, or a free spinal screening. They can then visit our office for a free chiropractic consultation, a free Acupuncture consultation, or any number of free services.”

Be Truly Well is now offering between three and four free community service events each week and the schedule, which is added to almost daily, can be found at www.betrulywell.com.

Be Truly Well Chiropractic and Day Spa is one company that is not playing by the rules. West’s personal feelings are summed up when he says, “If we all come together as a community and everyone decides to give back like we’re doing, or in some other way that can help people, there’s nothing that can stop us, or get us down.”
