NEW YORK, NY, 07 July 2008 — A serene Japanese setting, soothing music, nurturing touch – these are what you will experience at the third annual fundraising party at the Ohashi Institute in Chelsea. The Institute is a school that teaches a Japanese style massage, and its students and instructors are joining together to offer their talents to raise money for student scholarships. Ohashi practitioners will participate in this one-day program providing one session at the cost of $50.00 per person (value $85 and up). More than massage, the Ohashi method is an energy-based modality that combines acupressure points, gentle pressing, stretching and exercise that delivers a beneficial, holistic experience that both relaxes and revitalizes. The Ohashi Institute presents a tranquil and warm environment. This special day is an ideal time to discover the benefits of this unique and therapeutic bodywork.
In addition there will be a silent auction for some desirable prizes, and a party at the end of the marathon. It’s recommended that you call to register but you may also walk in at any time between 1:00 and 8:00pm: 147 W. 25th Street, 6th floor. 646-486-1187 or www.ohashiatsu.org
