MASSAGE Magazine recently reported on legislation that would regulate massage therapists in the state of Pennsylvania. On June 25 a new statement from the American Massage Therapy Association-Pennsylvania Chapter announced a new development with the bill:
“PA House Bill 2499 sponsored by Rep. Keith Mccall passed today through the house of representatives 193 to 5!!”
The bill now goes to the state Senate and, if passed, to the governor to be signed into law.
