Certified canine massage specialists Sharon and Tammaie Sesco know some people may see their new service as frivolous.
They believe it can be an essential part of a dog’s health care.
“An animal responds just like a human when it comes to massage,” Tammaie said.
Working in conjunction with veterinary care, massage can help dogs come back more quickly from illnesses, promote relaxation and emotional well-being, increase flexibility and be a diagnostic tool to detect illness before other symptoms appear, the women said.
