Michael Parks’ job as a massage therapist centers around helping people relax and battle tension, yet the perception of prostitution sometimes associated with his profession is a significant source of stress for him … “Besides anatomy and physiology, we make sure to stress things like dress code and professionalism,” Parks said. “That way we can avoid misunderstandings.”
For years, Parks said he was reluctant to bring his business to Lodi due to the perception that the city had numerous centers serving as fronts for prostitution … he changed his mind after seeing the Lodi Police Department make significant strides in recent years to correct the problem.
