One of the reasons Fort Wayne is a great place to play professional hockey has nothing to do with winning, tradition or one of the minor leagues’ largest fan bases. It’s a 55-year-old man who weighs less than all the players, is a former high school state champion gymnast and who can wrap everyone on the team around his little finger.

One of the best perks the Komets offer is the use of massage therapist Steve Grogg, who since the 2003-04 season has been a member of the Komets’ medical staff and a valued part of the team.
