BACOLOD CITY — Bacolod City Councilor Wilson “Jun” Gamboa said that the on-going reflexology training at the New Government Center supports the move of the country towards strengthening its ground on medical tourism that aims to lure foreigners to the country to take advantage of its competitive, yet affordable medical services…

With this trend, he predicts the demand for reflexologists in the coming days to grow as he expressed optimism on the recovery and growth of economies from the global financial meltdown…

“Let us dream of Bacolod City where people can have a decent life. Let us dream of defeating poverty that degrades people and the rob them of their dignity as human being,” he said…

Meanwhile, TESDA Provincial Director Yolanda Porschwitz announced that her office will shoulder the participants’ assessment fee of P500 needed for TESDA to recognize their skills…

Porschwitz also urged the Bacolod City government to sponsor scholars in TESDA by entering into an agreement…

The training that started Monday, will end on Friday July 17. (PIA-LOL)
