Becka Parker will bike to the Bolder Boulder on Monday morning as the sun is rising. But unlike the 50,000-some people participating in the 10K race, Parker’s work starts at the finish line.
Parker, a student at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, will be among the 61 students giving free post-race massages to runners at the University of Colorado Recreation Center.
The students have worked their healing hands on a diverse population throughout the county, volunteering their services for CU athletes, cancer patients, veterans coping with post-traumatic stress disorder, musicians, dancers—even animals.
