When my forearms and hands are sore from back-to-back work all day, the therapy that helps me most is hydrotherapy. I fill one side of my sink with ice and cold water, the other side with hot. I plunge my hands in cold water for 30 seconds, then in hot for 60 seconds, alternating this eight or nine times (adding hot water to the warm when necessary), always starting and finishing with cold. My arms and hands begin to tingle with increased blood circulation, and the relief is huge.
