It definitely was the day I joined the circus by accident! The clients had very specific needs depending on the acts in which they took part. Some needed a few areas loosened and limber, while other muscles had to remain taut in order to perform safely. Others needed to be completely relaxed, yet I had to leave the surface tissue very rough and dry. But the most unusual thing was toward the end of the tour when they asked me to help an elephant who had a cramp in her calf! The whole experience was so unusual that I actually wrote a children’s story about it, which is awaiting publication.
