Ongoing education means constantly adding new tools to the tool box. Just as one size does NOT fit all, so no one therapy or modality works on every body I encounter. Therefore, having additional ways of approaching symptoms and complaints enhances my ability to provide the appropriate therapy to my clients to help them: > be relieved of their pain, inflexibility, and/or stress; > heal from injury or sickness; > improve their sense of well-being > reduce their risk of injury or illness. It also means that my business grows as clients see definite improvement so they tell their friends who then decide to give it a try. As other medical professionals hear of the results we provide, they, too, begin to recommend massage therapy to their patients, allowing my practice to grow still more. Personally, I obtain great satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment when I conquer a new technique, and am thus able to add another dimension to my skill set.
