When I was a little kid I use to watch my parents get a massage from our personal Massage Therapist. During the time of his visits I would also watch him massage my younger sister who at that time was only 6 years old. My little sister suffered from a consistent cough during her younger age and was not the healthiest kid in the family. However, after continuous massage treatments my sisters coughing problem slowly disappeared. It was then at the age of 9 that I realized I wanted to help others feel better through massage. While growing up, initially I wanted to become a nurse, however in the back of my mind I knew that I wanted to become a Massage Therapist. After doing some research on the field of Massage Therapy, I realized that there was a great opportunity for me to make a living practicing what I love to do. I never thought growing up that I would actually become a Massage Therapist, but when you know in your heart what you really want to be, the opportunities will always present itself.
