Because my room does not have windows, I use a profusion of artificial plants to give the feel of a private outdoor setting. I also have a ceiling light cover, which looks like clouds—every client remarks about how nice it is! I change my decor about once a year. Some client favorites are: the pine forest—evergreen trees are very reasonable after the holidays. I added a mirror with a twig frame and other lodge-type accessories; the Mediterranean began with a large picture and many Ficus trees, grapevines and a fountain; and Grandma’s Attic is another favorite, with a braided rug, rocking chair, old chest of drawers, a faded quilt, etc. And of course, music.
