When working on-site and outcall, your cell phone becomes a good friend. Use your timer to signal the end of a massage. You are safer if you appear to be a very busy person, expected somewhere else very soon. And you should be very careful about your comments; make sure your client knows you have a friend waiting, expect to be picked up soon, are obligated to make a phone call on time, etc. And follow your instincts. If you are not comfortable with a situation, don’t go there! On-site massage can be hard to move people along without extended conversations. Keep moving, begin to prepare for another client as you cordially dismiss your current one. Too much conversation running into another time slot makes the coming client feel devalued. Each client needs to be met with full attention.
