Massage therapists who volunteered after the events of Sept. 11, 2001, are needed now to serve as volunteer tour guides at the Tribute World Trade Center Visitor Center, located directly across from the World Trade Center site, which has galleries, exhibits and programs that give visitors a first-person history of Sept. 11.

“Every week, thousands of visitors from across the country and around the world come to the Tribute Center to go on walking tours of the World Trade Center site,” explained Volunteer Program Outreach Coordinator Nancy Gamerman. “All tours are lead by volunteers who were directly affected by the events of Sept. 11, including first responders, rescue and recovery workers, survivors, family members who lost loved ones, downtown residents and volunteers.”

Tribute Center volunteers give walking tours of the World Trade Center site that incorporate their personal stories about Sept. 11 into an account of what happened that day.
