Sharing his personal stories and experiences in the beauty industry, Claybaugh captivated the crowd with his motivational words, reminding the audience on the importance of not only boosting the morale of those who you surround yourself with in a work environment, but boosting your own morale.

“Your habits form your character and your character determines your destiny,” he said.

Next to take the stage was Angela Noviello, director of the Esthetics Division, Milano Estetica Cosmetic Surgery & Medical Spa and Italian Director and National Educator of Oncology Esthetics. With her presentation “Pioneering Oncology Esthetics,” she, like Claybaugh, was also able to motivate those in the room.

Estheticians and skin care experts were moved by Noviello’s experiences with practicing Oncology esthetics in Italy and how this field has changed her life. With the utmost sincerity, Noviello expressed how being able to help cancer patients feel beautiful again has been a gratifying experience as a skincare professional.

Following Noviello’s presentation was a champagne toast, sponsored by MetroClick & Jessica Cosmetics. Guests indulged in champagne and chocolate covered strawberries before ending the evening by hearing a presentation from Repêchage CEO and Founder Lydia Sarfati.

Sarfati presented “Seaweed Rx,” highlighting the science behind Repêchage’s number one ingredient: seaweed. Sarfati dived deep into the structure of seaweed and how its composition is both nourishing and rejuvenating for the skin. Sarfati also gave an overview of the newest products from Repêchage, especially highlighting the new Vita Cura Triple Action Body Collection.

“We need to start skincare intensive treatments for the body,” she said. “For many years we have focused on peeling the skin, but how about rebuilding the skin we have? The skin is the largest orange in our body – it deserves our attention.”

The following day, attendees gathered at the Repêchage Headquarters in Secaucus, New Jersey, for an interactive workshop on oncology esthetics. Under the instruction of Repêchage Global Education Leader, Lauren Streeter, and Corporate Educator, Natalie Otto, who is certified in Oncology Esthetics, guests spent a full day learning further about practical methods for oncology esthetics and skincare for oncology patients.

With the ability to learn from one another and working together, Repêchage will continue to offer clients opportunities to increase their knowledge and provide them with the tools they need to achieve success.
