Boca Raton, Fla. – January 18, 2018 – Spa & Wellness Mexicaribe has honored Saltability with the “Most Innovative Product” award for its Therapeutic Massage Table Topper. Saltability’s patent-pending Therapeutic Massage Table Topper is the first-of-its-kind—filled with 55 pounds of pure, fine Himalayan salt and five pounds of 93 percent pure therapeutic quartz and used atop a warmed massage table to infuse natural healing benefits into every service and treatment.

“We are so excited to receive this honor,” Saltabilty founder and CEO Ann Brown said. “Innovation drives any industry, but we are especially proud to work in the spa and wellness industry where we see our products make a true difference in how people feel.”

Spa & Wellness Mexicaribe’s Winter 2018 issue features Saltability’s table topper for “Most Innovative Product” award, in addition to other spa, massage and wellness product awards.

“I enjoy the way that the topper absorbs and redistributes heat from the warming pad underneath. The warmth is more even, lest sharp, and feels more natural like laying on sand that’s been warmed in the sun,” Darin Puppel, cranio-sacral specialist who uses the Therapeutic Massage Table Topper for his business, said. “A few of my energy clients and energy-aware clients commented on the grounded feeling of the mat and really enjoyed the idea of being treated on a table of salt and quartz.”

Saltability has also received recognition as an innovative leader in the spa industry through two ISPA Innovate Awards in 2016 and 2017, respectively. In 2016, Saltability won for its eco-friendly Himalayan salt stone warmer, and in 2017, Saltability was honored for its Himalayan salt jars and salt stones for stone massage.

Brown founded Saltability from a desire to create a better stone massage, utilizing 100 percent Himalayan crystal salt, hand-carved and containing 84 naturally occurring minerals to nourish the body. Created when the primal sea, where scientists and scholars believe all life originated, was dried up by energy from the sun, Saltability’s hand-carved, organic salt stones are sourced from the Himalayan Mountains through socially, environmentally responsible manufacturing.
