Made from crushed stone and clay, Sassi Stones are each powered by a rechargeable battery that powers a heater, which heats the bottom of the stone. They warm up on one side in just one minute and stay hot 60-90 minutes. Sassi Stones are rechargeable through a convenient port on the top back of the stones, and they turn on automatically when they are unplugged.
