ATLANTA, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The U.S. Small Business Administration announces today that the Disaster Centers in Indiana will be closed Monday, September 1 in recognition of Labor Day and re-open Tuesday. The Business Recovery Center in the Chamber of Commerce in Morgan County and the Disaster Loan Outreach Center in the Booker T. Washington Community Center in Vigo County will cease operations Thursday, September 4th at the close of business.

The SBA urges homeowners, renters, businesses and non-profit organizations of all sizes that were affected by the severe storms, flooding and tornadoes that occurred on May 30 through June 27, 2008 to visit the Centers before they close to obtain one-on-one assistance with their application.

Victims may now apply for disaster loans from SBA's secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/.

The deadline to return economic injury applications is March 11, 2009; the deadline for returning applications for physical damage expired August 11, 2008.
