Standard Process Inc.® has earned a place on both the Inc. 5,000 and the Wisconsin 75 listings. The announcements for Standard Process, a nutritional whole food supplement company located in Palmyra, Wis., came just weeks apart.
Inc. magazine™s list of the 5,000 fastest growing private companies in America include Standard Process for the second consecutive year, while Deloitte & Touche named Standard Process among the top 75 largest, closely held businesses in Wisconsin for the first time.

Standard Process was ranked #4,407 overall on the Inc. 5,000. In Wisconsin, Standard Process ranked third for revenue growth among all companies in the health category. Of those, Standard Process was first in revenues and second in number of employees.
Inc. reported Standard Process had revenue growth of 58.7 percent for the period 2004 through 2007. The magazine also reported that the company had 2007 revenues of $87 million and 250 employees. The Inc. 5,000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. Among the qualifications, companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent”not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. Revenue in 2004 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2007 must have been at least $2 million.
Standard Process entered the Wisconsin 75 list at #68. The listing ranks companies by revenue, as determined by a voluntary submission of a qualification form. To qualify, companies must be majority owned by employees, a family or an individual, have at least $50 million in annual revenue, and be headquartered in Wisconsin”not subsidiaries of a company outside of the state.
