Jari Menari’s (“dancing fingers”) success would never hint to its humble beginnings, TIME reports. The creator, Susan Stein, began the training and massage center by showing her gardeners and security guards how to give her house guests massages.
Thus far about 30 of Stein’s staff have completed the training, which takes up to nine months. During the training the trainee works at Stein’s house (as usual) and practices the newly taught techniques on Stein’s friends.
Previous students have gotten jobs at resorts, have stayed at Jari Menari to help others learn, some have found work overseas as far as Italy, and a select few are on her traveling that train others at five star hotels around the world.
Visitors are always welcome at Jari Menari.
