Winners are first recognized by their region for Regional Therapists of the Year, Regional Estheticians of the Year, and Regional Managers of the Year. All regional winners are then invited to and awarded at Massage Envy’s Summit. At last year’s summit, the National Therapist of the Year award was presented to Jinghua “Jing” Shi, a Lead Therapist at the Massage Envy franchise in Mountain View, California, and franchise employee for 10 years. Jing was recognized for her profound impact on clients and how she embodies the Massage Envy brand’s values.

The franchise owner of the Massage Envy Mountain View location shared, “All of the therapists look up to Jing for guidance and mentorship. She is very approachable and willing to share her massage knowledge to help the other therapists. Jing believes the organization runs best if everyone works as a team. She trains other therapists to ensure they understand and follow protocols and to improve the quality of their massages. She also coaches other therapists on how to effectively communicate with clients. She has really helped other therapists gain their confidence and build up a stable clientele.”
